• Once nominations are closed, results from the nomination form provides the basis on which a shortlist of finalists is determined by the Chamber's Events Committee.
  • The shortlisted finalists are notified and asked to create an Entrant Account where they will complete a Finalist Form and submit a detailed package with references.
  • Each category has a smaller, separate designated panel of judges that review the nomination packages and make a final decision.
  • The judges are typically made up of business and community leaders, including past award winners. Each judge is asked to sign a Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality declaration on the category they are judging.
  • Chamber staff, including the Executive Director, and the Board of Directors do not make up the judges panel and, therefore, do NOT take part in the final decisions. Staff, however, may be involved in facilitating meetings when necessary.
